Judicial Clerkships in Family and Civil Courts
Extensive Hands-On Experience in Divorce and Custody
Advanced Training in Collaborative Family Law
Ahava Guefen is a native Houstonian and member of the Texas Bar. Ms. Guefen has been deeply passionate about family law from a young age. Having been personally affected by the impacts of high conflict divorce litigation, she was led to spend three summers as a law clerk for a highly regarded boutique family law firm. There, Ms. Guefen fell in love with providing those going through their darkest times with a sense of security in their representation and the confidence to act in the best interest of their families.
After graduating Cum Laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs in 2022, Ms. Guefen attended South Texas College of Law Houston, graduating in May of 2025. During law school, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable Sonya L. Heath in the 310th Family District Court of Harris County, as well as The Honorable Mike Engelhart in the 151st Civil District Court of Harris County. Ms. Guefen also spent a summer clerking at another prominent family law firm, primarily focusing on divorce and custody litigation before permanently joining Diamant Moore, P.C.
Ms. Guefen has been described by her peers as warm, dedicated, and confident. She strives to create an environment where those in her corner feel unwaveringly supported, and to always leave no stone unturned.
In her free time, Ms. Guefen enjoys the arts and women’s sports. She is a dedicated fan of all competition-based reality tv (à la survivor, Big Brother, The Traitors), and looks forward to the New York Times games daily.
