ALYSSA STUBBS

PARALEGAL

Alyssa got her start in the legal arena as a domestic abuse survivor-turned-legislative advocate before her paralegal career. Dissatisfied with the family court system, in 2018 she took part in forming an advocacy movement making post-separation resources and guidance to protective parents more accessible, educating professionals, and advocating for policy change. Through Alyssa’s advocacy journey she met Angel, Jeff, and Kelsey, who also represented her in the fight to protect her children.

As a full-time single mother, domestic violence survivor, and legislative policy advocate, Alyssa is experienced and educated in child abuse, domestic violence, high conflict divorce and coercive control within the family dynamic and court system.

Alyssa is currently working towards a bachelors degree in Public Policy from The University of Houston. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her 3 children and is an avid Taylor Swift & heavy metal connoisseur.
